Rode the Riverboat
Yup. I went on a riverboat cruise yesterday for a company function. It was a good change of pace from our hectic past couple of months here. Even the constant rain didn’t deter us from going down to Newport. After we got all boarded, the boat departed and we thoroughly enjoyed our buffet lunch. Afterwards, Gary and I headed out on the deck to see the view. I snapped a few pictures, hoping they would turn out okay since it was so hazy from the rain. They didn’t turn out too bad. The guy on the speaker was telling everyone about the history of the buildings, bridges, and people of the area. It was good stuff, no doubt.
After being away from my table, I came back in and had to get another cup of water as mine was gone. The server said she took it because she didn’t know where I went off to. Actually, yeah, it’s not like I left the boat or anything… Oh well. We played some riverboat bingo as well but I didn’t win so I have no secrets for those of you who want to get better at it. Oh well. In spite of the rain, it was a good time.

Sounds like it was a lot of fun. My group had an outing on Tuesday as well. We journeyed to Huber Heights and went bowling! I actually had a 125 game. Pro bowlers tour, here I come!
Of course, we’re expected to make up for the time out of our shackles. Ah, didn’t I do that, like last week?
