And what a good election it was…
This whiteboard drawing just about says it all, doesn’t it? Of course, Issue 5 passing messes up my restaurant plans. That’s okay though. Less carcinogens for us! Aside from John Boehner, I think I did get my election wishes this year. This Independent welcomes the change coming to Congress. Here’s hoping for the best.

Actually, Issue 5 makes your restaurant plans easier. You can still have the “Smokers” section and now by law they can’t light up. Genius!
With the Democrats in power, I see it as a different set of weasels. If they could get organized, that would be something.

Hmm.. That’s very true. I can still put their stinky breath away from the rest of the patrons! Excellent!
They are, indeed, a different set of weasels. Pelosi said that they will attempt to work well with the Republicans and not mess around. For the Democrats’ sake, they better not mess around. This is their chance to prove to America they’re not going to be a bunch of corrupt, slacking losers. I say that in the most polite way, of course. I know they might want some revenge but please, these are our tax dollars – put it to good use.
